Hello,

There are many good hostels in Singapore. You can try "Betel Box" hostel in Joo Chiat Road. It is also close to the famous Paya Lebar MRT on the East West line. In Kuala lumpur there are many good hostels in Bukit bintang. "Sunshine Bedz" is one worth staying in KL.

Hi, I am in Kuala Lumpur. For 30 ~ 40 € you can get a nice budget hotel in KL instead of a guest house.I just booked a friend in Hotel Geo, KL Petaling Street Chinatown which is a newly opened budget hotel in the centre of Chinatown and KL for 43 € or Hotel Winsin another new budget hotel for 22 € nearby. Both are in the centre of KL Chinatown area and near to amenities and inter-city train stations.
Or, if you are taking the KLIA Express train to the KLIA/LCCT airport to Bangkok later, option is staying in My Hotel @ Sentral Brickfields near the Sentral station for 27 € to catch the KLIA Express train later.

However, if you are keen on a guest house, there is a very famous one in KL, the Reggae Guest House located in Chinatown KL. They have both dormitory beds for 8-9 € and private rooms for 22 €. The Reggae consists of Reggae Guest House 1 and Reggae Guest House 2 (new) It is near to the Chinatown night market, train station and Central Market cultural centre. Cheers and have a nice trip to KL ! (One word of caution: Please don't leave your valuables in the dorm or room or leave the luggages with the staff upon check-out. There was a theft in the place last month)

Is that the same Reggae Guest House that caused a huge contoversy last year because of its practice of excluding Malaysians?
