Need recomendations for trip with girlfriend to Spain

I am going to be traveling to Spain August 25th - September 2nd of this year. Our flights are booked and we are flying in and out of Barcelona. We plan to stay 3 or 4 days in Barcelona and are looking for another place to spend 3 days. Any recommendations? We are considering: Seville, San Sebatian, Pamplona, Malaga, Granada. I am open to suggestions.

We are excited to see the big city of Barcelona and we'd also like to see a small town feel with a lot of culture, great food, possibly beach, adventure, ect.

I also always wanted to see a bull fight but it looks like it might be the wrong time of year.

Any suggestions for our second location to visit and things to do and see?

Depends on your budget.
If you have a reasonable budget, head to Bilbao and San Sebastian in the Basque country for good..no, great food and wine.
If your budget is less, head south to Andalusia region - easily do 3-4 days in Seville or Granada (not both).

Happy travels

San sebastian is beautiful and as PhiMeow said, has great food and wine! In the south, Granada is a great cultural city to visit.

If you want to see a bullfight - Madrid's Ventas bullfight arena holds fights every Sunday evening (although I see Madrid is not on your list of options but, I guess if you really wanted to see one then you could make an exception :D)

Others have said all I can, except, maybe time your return-to-Barcelona travels to give you a 24 stopover in Madrid (use express trains, maybe), as that has a lot of hidden things to wander round and see...
