Girls' Trip- where to go?Hi everyone,
A friend and I (two women 35-40 years old) are trying to plan a getaway this Oct/Nov. We're looking for ideas where to go, because we can't seem to find the "right" trip to fit both of us. Here's the situation:
-She loves taking photos so would like to go somewhere with beautiful scenery or lots of visual stuff (she's suggested Disney World as she's never been there).
-I really just want to relax and have some laid-back fun- I do like Disney but I've been there a fair amount and just can't get excited about it right now.
-A cruise would be ideal, but with only 5 days, we're hesitant to bother.
-We've done Vegas together and want to try something different.
-We're not really "typical" girls- not really into spas or nightclubs. Shopping's okay, to an extent.
-We're from Canada and are open to destinations in Canada, the US, and Mexico/central America (although, again, we're hesitant to soak money into an all-inclusive with only 5 days.)
I know, I really have no idea what I'm looking for and my notes have probably eliminated pretty much everything. But I figured it wouldn't hurt to post this and see if anyone has any brilliant ideas that we hadn't thought of before.
Thanks in advance!

3I dont know what Disney and Vegas has to do with developing countries, indigenous cultures and mayan ruins, surfing, scuba diving and volcanoes, but maybe you should go to Miami.
