5-6 day road trip from Charlottesville to Miami
I have 5-6 days to drive from Charlottesville to Miami. Any suggestions on what cities/parks to stop in on my way?I enjoy day-hiking and cultural sights.

So do you know how to use Google Map? if you do, then look at the main route, and the national and state parks all marked in Green, all these areas are well reviewed if you Google them.Obviously the BRB is a popular route for a portion, as is many parts of the coast too, like Charleston and Savannah.

What time of year?If sticking to close to I-95, Duke University Lemur Exhibit (have tours) near Durham. If further inland in the mountains, (my choice), lots of hiking around Asheville and Brevard, etc. in NC. Could take Blue Ridge Parkway much of the way from Charlottesville to that area. Cultural sights is pretty broad. You'll find some in Asheville but not like in a big city. Charlotte, for example, has some good museums but isn't as scenic as Western NC. Haven't been to Atlanta, but it seems to have some good museums as well.
