Bulawayo - Masvingo - Beitbridge
I an planning a visit to Masvingo and the Great Zimbabwe ruins in September. I'll be arriving Bulawayo by train from Vic Falls and plan to go on to Masvingo by bus the same day. Does anyone know whether Masvingo is easily reched from Bulawayo by bus? From Masvingo/Great Zimbabwe I'll be turning south for Beitbridge and South Africa. So my question would be the same: Is Beitbridge easily reached by bus from Masvingo?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Prob best to grab a cab from the train station to the spot where the combis leave for Masvingo - it will probably cost $8-10 and it'll be a touch cramped. Just make sure you keep you valuables on you or in your day pack as the big bag may end up in the 'boot' - it'll be fine though but better to be safe. It's a $1-$2 combi from Masvingo to Great Zim. Worth stocking up on food there though as may not be able to get anything at GZ - we were lucky and managed to buy some braai food off the staff who were cooking for a school party. Dorms were $5 a night and roundels around $15. There are a few parks fees to pay but can't remember the cost unfort. Just avoid the blinking baboons in the park areas though.
I presume there will be combis to Beitbridge from Masvingo. Worth asking before you leave for GZ. Locals always v happy to help.
&if you have time then Bulawayo is worth a day - Nat Gallery and Natural History museum are interesting.
