To Bolivia from Salta

Planning on going from Salta to Atacama and possibly Bolivia. Anyone have any good tips on transportation or places to go in Bolivia not terribly far from the borders? maybe Uyuni and south. Thank you for any info

Turpiza is an option. It's a nice little town and you can go horse riding there

If you are thinking of San Pedro de Atacama, then the Salar de Uyuni is easily accessible and well worth visiting.

There are many options in San Pedro to arrange a visit to the Salar: you leave San Pedro and travel into Bolivia, through the desert to the Salar, and then back again. Google "Salar de Uyuni tours San Pedro de Atacama".
