ATM on the Amalfi Coast

Hi All,

Quick question: I just spoke to my bank, and they informed me that more and more ATMs in Europe are making the switch to the chip system, following in the steps of their credit card machines. It's been about 4 years since I've been to Europe, and at that time my US magnetic strip ATM card was accepted in all ATM machines I encountered.

Should I be concerned about not being able to use ATM machines on the Amalfi Coast because the US is still in the Dark Ages when it comes to banking technology?

Some extraneous information: We are staying in Praiano for our entire trip.

Thanks,
Tim

No. Magnetic strips still work
