ATM debit cards
Any Americans traveling in Croatia now? I'm wondering about using my debit card at ATM's without a chip. Is anyone having any problems?1
I travelled the entire Balkans including Romania in May and June and had absolutely no problem with using my Non Chip ATM Card anywhere. I did have one problem by a hotel not accepting my Mastercard non chip credit card in Kotor. Make sure you inform your bank(s) that you will be travelling in these countries or they may suddenly 'block' your use of the card. Have a great time.
