Reasons:

Early December to mid-February is the best tim e to be in SE Asia.
Three days in SE Asia will cost a lot less.
LA is not all that in February.
LA is pretty much like the rest of America.
The long flight to SE Asia w ill t ax you, so you might as well get it over with and use your first 1-2 days in SE Asia to recover - take. It easy and don't be so ambitious upon arrival.

I know I can look for a forecast before I leave etc and I dont expect one now, everyone knows its not possible. Just wanted to know what the weather has been like around the Hollywood/Glendale/Santa monica area in early feb over the past few years. I know I can get averages but they tell you nothing about continuous rain/Snow or few heavy showers, also dont say if rain is in the day/night, looking for more of a view from someone whos been there at that time, what did you experience in early Feb.16
No snow, it can rain for on and off for 3 days. Likely scenario is nice weather, can wear short pants during the day, long pants after 5pm. Rains usually last an hour or two, depart and come back in a few hours night or day.Morning TV weather will tell you when the rain will hit during the day within a hour or two.
