I know I can look for a forecast before I leave etc and I dont expect one now, everyone knows its not possible. Just wanted to know what the weather has been like around the Hollywood/Glendale/Santa monica area in early feb over the past few years. I know I can get averages but they tell you nothing about continuous rain/Snow or few heavy showers, also dont say if rain is in the day/night, looking for more of a view from someone whos been there at that time, what did you experience in early Feb.

No snow, it can rain for on and off for 3 days. Likely scenario is nice weather, can wear short pants during the day, long pants after 5pm. Rains usually last an hour or two, depart and come back in a few hours night or day.

Morning TV weather will tell you when the rain will hit during the day within a hour or two.

Let me suggest you skip the three days in California and extend your stay in SE Asia instead.

Reasons:

There is a great deal to see and do in SE Asia.

Early December to mid-February is the best tim e to be in SE Asia.

Three days in SE Asia will cost a lot less.

LA is not all that in February.

LA is pretty much like the rest of America.

The long flight to SE Asia w ill t ax you, so you might as well get it over with and use your first 1-2 days in SE Asia to recover - take. It easy and don't be so ambitious upon arrival.

Kahua...some people's lives revolve around weather. My neighbor keeps track of inches of rainfall. It's the first thing he mentions when he sees me.

He also listens to the Dodgers on the radio and keeps box scores. Interesting enough person to talk to if you have an escape plan.

bzookaj;
I was thinking of using the old "You can teach a person to fish or give him a fish" argument but you'll probably only out clever me on that too.
