Teacher exchange between Canada and Australia
So...I am an Australian teacher and I have applied for a one year exchange through our education department...which is awesome...but....they haven't been able to find enough Canadians who want to spend a year in Australia..Are you interested, know anyone who would be interested?? I have loads of information I could give you, so would love to hear from you!

Thats surprising. Everyone I know would spend a year in Australia...including myself, but alas, Im not a teacher:( I could pass the word the though.3
Can you personally message me with details such as elementary/secondary; tentative start/finish dates and I will pass the info along to my staff and the rest of my district, I'm a principal at a small secondary school on the west coast of Canada.5
Emma, curious if you found a Cdn to exchange with? Im just beginning to browse and consider this idea. I am a teacher in Toronto who has taught abroad before.Joel

Hi Joel,No, I didn't get a match. I'm pretty gutted about it. I thought there would be a lot of Canadians wanting to spend a year in Australia!
I am really keen to go to Toronto. I am contemplating trying again for 2014. I think applications for us have to be in about December (which is the end of our school year)
