Lake Bled and surrounds advice please

Hello

I will be arriving into Ljubljana airport from Croatia on 29th September in the afternoon and will be leaving on 5th October.

I have 5 full days as well as the afternoon I get in.

I was thinking:

Day 1 - arrive into Ljubljana airport - travel to Bled
Day 2 - full day Bled

Car hire from Bled start of day 3 and day trips around Triglav (over the passes and Soca valley etc) and also to Lake Bohinj over days 3,4 and 5

Day 3 -
Day 4 -
Day 5 -

Or 2 days for Triglav and an extra one in Ljubljana?

Day 6 - to Ljubljana, rest of day and evening Ljubljana (must be here by evening)

Day 7 - leave from Ljubljana 8am.

Does it make sense to stay in Bled the whole time and do day trips from there, or are there great places to stay in Triglav?

Any advice would be warmly welcomed. I am a keen photographer, love dramatic scenery etc, which is why I thought driving the roads around Triglav would be good.
