Sept Abroad

so my bf & I are planning a nine day trip abroad during the first week of September. We've been looking at various locations, and can't decide. We'd be flying out of New York and we know that if we head to Asia, we would probably loose a day or two in flights alone.

Taking into consideration that it being sept, Asia will be at the end of its monsoon season and south america in the middle of its hurricane season, can anyone who has traveled around give any recommendations?

We've been looking at Bali, Morocco, Greece, Egypt, & Spain. However, we feel that a week wouldn't be sufficient in exploring Greece & Spain. Surfing in Bali is supposed to be great, and the food in Morocco an experience. Any thought would be greatly appreciated! Any different suggestions would be great as well!

Just FYI, we are in our mid 20's hailing form the states. We love street food, fishing, snorkeling, and culture/history. The boyfriend likes to drink with locals and other tourists (he's very friendly). We travel abroad at least twice a year for a week at a time. We're not too picky, hence the dilemma in picking our next vacation spot.
