Looking for a cheap camping and fishing spot near Vancouver

Got a week off work so me and some buddies were thinking of going on a fishing/camping trip for a few days. We live in North Vancouver, but anywhere within, say, a 5 hour drive would be ideal. We are students so in a perfect world we would like a place where we can camp free. We're also fairly experienced campers and don't mind going remote if anyone has an awesome secret spot. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Head up the Harrison Lake west side road, Turn in of the Lougheed hwy at the Sasquatch Inn onto the Morris Valley road towards Hemlock Valley ski resort.Theres a few lakes just past the Weaver Lake spawning grounds that are good for a few trout, complete with forestry recreation sites. Busy on weekends tho...
