@15, that's what I was afraid of. But Vietnam has good coffee, and I think Lao coffee is pretty good too. I even brought some home from Cambodia earlier this year and was pretty happy with it. I figured Thailand must have their own coffee. I will track down the recommendations that I have received so far.

I think you would have been disappointed if you had made it to a department store. They don't sell coffee at department stores!!!

I was too drunk to figure anything out. Lucky I made it to the conference. Drinking, chain-smoking, and street-food eating. That was Bangkok, and I loved every minute of it. Luckily I caught my 6:45am flight down south (Nakhon Si). Highly recommend it. Will post some pics here soon.
