Hello!I am flying into Sao Paolo on July 12, and already booked a hostel in the city and a guesthouse on Ilhabela after that...but I just discovered I am landing on Viracopos Airport! Does anybody have any tips on how to get to the citycenter (Vila Madalena) or at least not too far from Tiete Bus terminal for the next day? Arriving in the evening, so there aren't any domestic flights...
Any suggestions are much appreciated!

Viracopos is the airport near campinas. There are direct buses to sao paulo bus terminals and the city center.Check timetables at http://www.viracopos.com.br/

Honestly, I think if you are only going to sleep in Sao Paulo and arriving late in the evening in Viracopos you should cancel your reservation in the hostel there, take a cab to nearby Ibis hotel (55USD) and in the next morning go to Campinas central bus station and get a bus from there to Sao Sebastiao where you can board the ferry to Ilha Bela.I live in Campinas and I think departures to Sao Sebastiao are not very often... But it's worth checking there. If you would get stuck in Campinas for a long time, just board any bus to Sao Jose dos Campos (frequent departures) and there take a bus to Sao Sebastiao.
