exchange office & Travel agency in Tehran open on Sun?

Hi there,
I will be arriving Tehran IKA airport late Sat night 8.30pm. I guess I will change a little US$/EUR from the airport to get me into Tehran city.
I am wondering if the exchange office (not bank) and travel agency open on Sun in Tehran. I am thinking of changing money and try to get a domestic flight ticket via travel agency on Sun and fly out on the next day Mon.
cheers,
Eric

Sunday is a working day in Iran, the weekend includes Friday and for some offices Thursday but still some travel agents in Tehran work on weekends as well.

As response number one explained to you, Saturday and Sunday are working days for Iranians and most Middle easterners .

To get the best Exchange Rates in Tehran go to the exchange offices on Ferdossi street in Tehran.
You can take the Immam khomeni metro station or ferdossi square metro station and get there.

The exchange offices in the middle of those metro stations on Ferdossi street will give you the best exchange rates. If you exchange your money with the exhange offices near the ferdossi square metro station , you will not, not, get the rest rates.

So , to get the best rates, get off at Imman Khomeni metro station and walk a couple of blocks on ferdossi street and you will see several of the best exchange offices to your left.

These exchange offices are just north of the National Jewels Museum on Ferdossi, so when you pass the Museum you will know you are getting close. There are 2 quite close together with electronic quote boards on the wall outside their office.

They have about 10-15 currencies quoted, so I assume they will exchange any of them, not just $ and Euros.

They will also exchange rials back to $US for anyone who has extra rials left. They may do the same for Euros. I asked for $20CDN for my rials. The man checked, but did not have any $CDN, so I took $US. The fact that he checked left me with the impression they would exchange currencies other than $US and Euros.

Of course, that was last year.
