1Hi, One problem that I see right away is why would you want to base in Managua? I think anyone one here would tell you to get out of town and stay in Granada or something. San Juan Del Sur is ok to spend a night but the nicer beaches are a short day trip either north or south of town. That means more time and at least an overnight to do it right.

Why would I want to base myself out of Managua you ask.. Well many reasons.
Best Disco's / Nightlife
So I am looking to go to San Juan Del Sur for a day trip. Only issue is having like 6 hours of beach time then being able to get back to Managua by around 10pm.
Looking specifically for info on the best ways & times of transport to make this happen.

3I would go west from Managua to the beaches there. SJDS is'nt a good swimming beach as it is polluted. To hang on a beach you would head north or south. You would be better off both time and beach wise to just go to the beaches up there.

5If you have that many people, just rent a car and go, then you can get to the surf spots too, as you have to commute to them anyway from SJDS, and you dont have to worry about transport at night back to Managua...ughhh.

8Try Pochomil, closer to Managua, ideal for a daytrip, more of a local vibe, local ladies instead of the gringas that you also meet at home.................
