University of Havana - do they have a book store that sell t-shirts?
Back story: I like tank tops that brag where I been. 2 questions: Could I buy a t-shirt that has University de Habana or viva Mojito on it and have it altered by a seamstress into a tank top? I did this in Jamaica once. So, where would I find the t=shirts and where would I find a seamstess or tailor? Ps, I'll be staying in Old Havana.1
Larry: I had been looking for a Univ. Habana t-shirt for several years when I finally saw someone at La Marcha on May 1st wearing one. He was a faculty member and got one of a limited run. There were not even enough to go around for the faculty.Of course, anything in Cuba is available for a price. But good luck in finding someone who is wearing one, much less in your size, so you can buy it off their back.
I am also in search of one of those black Havana Club siete anos t-shirts, size XL.
FWIW, I have a like new Piggly Wiggly t-shirt to trade. Only older Americans from the rural south understand the "Piggly Wiggly" grocery store.

It didn't post. I had drawn a design that had the Cuban star and Universidad de Habana on it.6
Havana Club 7 year anjeo. My favorite commonly available rum in Cuba. Several years ago they made a batch of black t-shirts with a 7 on them. The gift shop at the rum museum said for years that they may order another batch of those t-shirts but now they say no.I have a close up photo of the logo from the one Univ. of Habana t-shirt that I saw. If I was not so lazy, I would have some made here in the US and sell them on Amazon or E-Bay.
Just do not tell us if you buy one of those stupid berets with a red star that you see too many tourists wearing.
