Snakes
Hi,I would like to see the snake farm in Kanchanaburi, but I can't find out where exactly it is. So, anyone here know of it please do let me know. And while I'm on the subject anyone know which snakes are involved in the Bangkok snake show? And one more, where around Bangkok would I find wild snakes, many thanks,
P.
Ps yes, I like snakes ;)

The Bangkok snake farm says this on their web-site and it's also how I remember itVenomous snakes including the king cobra, Siamese cobra, Russell's viper, banded krait, Malayan pit viper, green pit viper and Pope's pit viper are milked daily for their venom to make snake-bite antidote. Venom-milking and snake-handling shows are held daily at 10.30 am and 2.00 pm on weekdays, and 10.30 am on public holidays.

I think those days are long gone. 40 years ago we had green snakes in the backyard in downtown Sarasin road (this road was actually a soi back then).
