Dude, keep yourself away from the volcano and away from any areas of conflict. Colombia is an awesome place and every time that I've taken people with me from overseas, they love it and end up coming back by themselves (not escorted by me. You got the tickets, forget the cold feet. Go and enjoy it. Only tip is that it is the rainy season in the Caribbean Coast so it will be a bit hot and muggy.16
