Branch

Hi

For the last few days I've been getting that 'sorry, the site's having a moment' message when I try and get into thorn tree. I can still get into all the branches (that I've tried) like Oz and YC etc but not UK and Ireland. I can get into the thread that I've contributed to, but not the main branch. I've asked on YC if anyone else is having this problem and it looks like it's just me.... I've shut down, started again, got rid of it from favourites etc etc but it always gives me that message.

Trouble is I don't know what to do!

Any ideas please? If it's technical, be gentle!!!

Hi....

A few comments about this have been posted over the last few days - in several branches.
Are you getting the picture of the bus with the two cars on its roof, at the same time?
That's what I got.
T.T. was very 'Very' slow responding to anything for quite awhile here (UK).
Seems to be OK now - though.
Good luck.

Thanks batty... I asked this on YC and was simply laughed at. Have even asked techie stepson but he couldn't help. It's weird though, that I can look at responses to posts but not the main page or new posts and only in UK.
It's no better today though. I can't see anywhere to ask TTF tech team - if it exists!

Thanks for replying.

Had the same. I use Firefox as main browser. Checked TT on my phone and no prob. Used explorer on the pc and no probs.
So cleared cookies, history and loggins in Firefox and works fine again. Had to do it twice however, went back to the bus picture once.
Since then no more, everything find.
Why, how? No clue.

Dunno how accurate this might be, but.... Internet Explorer 7, is slowly fizzling out.
That might have sommat to do with a few things - on peoples kit.

I think I updated to 8 not long ago... but it could be that. Thinking about swopping to a Mac (at last!)

IE 8 is fine on Xp, IE 9 (I believe) only works with 7.
I've taken quite an interest in Macs lately - too.
Few of my friends have got one - and wouldn't go back to anything else.
Guess I'm hesitating for all the wrong reasons.
