Jakarta to tanjung putingI'm going in about 3months to Indonesia for 28days. Because it's my first encounter with Indonesia I want to see as many as possible in the short period of staying. I badly want to go the orangutangs national park in Kalimantan (Tanjung Puting) but I can't find any direct flights to Pangkalabunn from Jakarta. Does anybody know if this is possible?or any experience with Tanjung Puting park on Kalimantan?
Thanks for any reply!

You are actually looking for Jakarta to Pangkalan Bun. TP is the name of the Park. Trigana flies the route.
We have been to TP twice and loved every minute of it.
The first time was with a local Indonesian travel agent who arranged our domestic flights, klotok, permits and the like. PM me if you would like their contact.
The second time we went independantly. It cost a little less but overall, we found little difference in experience. My wife thought that the 1st klotok was more comfortable and the staff friendlier. But both times were great. Definetely one of the best things to experience in Indonesia.

How long where you in TP and how much do you spend on the trip?(estimated price) I'm budget traveling so i can take account for that on further tripping in Indonesia.
