A favor to ask of anyone going from Timor to Australia in the next week

Hi, everyone,

I'm a medical student in New York and just got back from a month volunteering at the Bairo Pite Clinic in Dili. While I was there we diagnosed one of the patients with a rare genetic disease. We are trying to get some blood samples to New York to do further genetic testing, but there is no way to FedEx from Dili. I personally took blood samples from Dili to Australia the last time (there is no problem at customs as long as you have an official letter from the clinic), and I am looking for someone willing to take a few samples to anywhere in Australia and then send them from any FedEx office (shipping paid by me, all the forms are prepared and we've already checked that this is legal and possible). You would be furthering scientific research and possibly helping out a family with a serious health issue. Please PM me or respond to this thread if you'd be willing to help.
