buying air tickets once in Borneo

Hi.
How have you gone about booking air tickets for within Borneo once actually there? Internet/ travel agent/ airline at airport? How was your experience? I am thinking of these possibilities as i am still working on an itinerary: Kuching - Miri Miri- Bario maybe Kuching -KK
Thanks

I do it online if its Air Asia or Mas....fast and easy.

If its an unknown Indonesian airline, then at the office in the airport.

Just buy at maswings.com - cheapest way, I've tried a couple of agencies here and the cheapest tickets are still online if you're buying domestic flights.

Internet, or even at the airport counter if it's very short term.

Yes, but do you have to book in advance or are there usually enough seats available to book one or two days before in person?

Depends on many things...the route, the time of year, how much competition there is,size of plane etc.

If its Airasia or other online companies it is usually cheaper to do it as early as you can.

If it is at the airport counter i have done it for the same or next day plenty of times without problems......
