hi folks.I am going to samui and ko tao in june, and i also want to visit west coast. what about the weather?
a couple of years back i was in krabi in june/july and altho the sea didn't look that rough to me, the boats were not leaving ao nang at all for about 4 days running (so we went over to ko tao)
so what i'm asking anyone with experience of west coast off season, are all the resorts still open in june/july and is there a possiblity we may be stranded in ao nang?
also; i am dreaming of emerald turquoise seas, and i found online the best places look like pawapi or chateau hill ko muk and paradise resort ko yao noi.
also we want to go to ko yao ecotourism homestay as well. hard to get in contact; i tried the phone numbers on the website any advice?

A lot of the resorts close in June on Koh Muk.Koh Yao Noi is awesome (imo) because it's not as touristy, the tourists who do go there are more relaxed than on some of the other islands, and there's lot's of village life. The beaches are not the best. I still recommend it, but I'm not sure how it is in June.

Even resorts in Phuket close in June. Boat trips are cancelled and the water can be really rough.
