Bus from Centro (Medellin) to Airport in Rio Negro via Centro
Does anyone know exactly where this bus leaves from in Centro? And by any chance, what time it starts running?3
It's next to Parque Berrio, but for the love of gads, be very careful with your belongings there at that hour... it's prime thieving territory. Fine as long as you're alert but many opportunist thieves hang out in the wee hours right in the Botero park area.I'm sure you've already considered taking a taxi but I'd recommend it strongly considering the time.

I was just there a couple weeks ago (around 6am for a flight).....The location is a side street behind the hotel Nutribara (all the cab drivers know the hotel and the location). The buses line up (they have signs in the window) and there will be plenty of others (locals) headed to the airport at that hour (there is also a coffee/pastry shop right on the corner where they park that is open).9
I take the bus from Centro to MDE once a month - yes still 7K pesos - if you have anything other than a backpack - take a taxi to Centro and then catch the bus to Rio Negro - I take the Metro but at 10am - and when leaving Colombia I am packed very light - coming back is another story.
