30Pretty choppy trip with lots of buses.... timing and needing to be in certain places on certain days is causing a slight annoyance. But what can we do :/
here is my updated itinerary.
Mon 25th - Managua
Tue 26th - San Juan Del Sur (Playa Marsella)
Wed 27th - San Juan Del Sur / Managua (leave for Managua in the evening)
Thu 28th - Granada
Fri 29th - Granada
Sat 30th - Managua
Sun 1st - Managua
Mon 2nd - Managua / Leon
Question about Granada. Has anyone went to the disco's in the Centro Turistico on the weekend? How many people can be found partying out there on the weekend? Appears to be about 2-3 clubs there (Inuit Bar, Cesar's, & Disco Centauro). Im very hesitant of staying in Granada on a Friday nite.....

33People are people, the same all over the world. Especially in clubs, whether it be Thaiiland, Venezuela, or wherever, the women are all either stuck up, whores, or out to rob you. It is the same no matter where you go, you will learn this after many years of traveling.
For a truly unique adventure, you should go for the sights and the experience, find the laid back places where other travelers (note I didn't say tourists) go, and enjoy their company as well. That is how you get laid most often. The local chicks are OK but they will make you pay for everything because they are poor. Don't give them your e-mail or tel # because they will pester you to send them money once you get home.
American chicks are a pain in the ass, avoid them and shoot for the Europeans or Canadians.

Your notion of women "in clubs" is a bit harsh and not truly accurate for every female. I have meet plenty of down to earth nice chics in clubs around the world that we not stuck up or out to rob me. Now they might could have been on the easy side, but hey I dont mind that! :) Im not looking to marry any of these females. But yes there is ALOT of females like the ones you described. Thats never stopped me from having a good time though. Like I said, im not marrying these chics so I could care less.
My trips are usually pretty unique in that I go to places most other travelers / tourists wont go because of perceived danger ect. For instance the moment I get checked into my hotel at 1am in Managua ill be heading out to the strip clubs, alone mind you as my buddy wont get there till the next day. Cheap beer, music, and free lap dances! Cant wait! Most young guys my age hop off the plane and head straight to San Juan Del Sur for some surfing and never truly experience Nicaragua and its people on the level I will. Ill be doing the "traveling" sites and experiences as well. I have exhausted countless hours online about everything to do and see in Nicaragua!
Other tourists / travelers are easy as well, but when im in another country im looking to experience the local cuisine per say.
Yes you are right the local chicks are poor and i will have to pay for lunch ect but I dont mind that. Ill prob have 2-3 dates in MetroCentro or some other place while im in Managua. Esp considering what I will get out of it! Me and my buddy will have our own hot local Nica tour guides to show us around town! Cant beat that!
I have a disdain for American chicks so I avoid them like the plague. Europeans and Australians are pretty fun though! Met some cool Australian chicks when I was in San Salvador!

Did you hit up the tourism center by the lake in Granada on a fri or sat night? There is 2-3 clubs down there. Seems like the older tourist crowd sticks to Calle Calzada for entertainment.
Im pretty confident you didnt go to Dilectus in Chinandega. That place gets a good crowd on the weekend.

37"I went out by myself Sat nite looking for trouble with half a bottle of booze and couldn't find any is all I know"
lol my kind of guy!
Its a pity Granada is so lack on the club / disco front!
After San Juan Del Sur me and my buddy will head to Granada for a day and a half, then return to Managua to kill it on the weekend!

38Have you been to Guate or Belize? They both have a much livelier party scene. Even CR has a lively party scene.
The islands off Belize City have a great vibe-and a party atmosphere.
Flores has a great party hostel and so does Antigua and Lanquin.
Where are you going after your week in Nica? Back home or somewhere else?

43Getting pretty close to your big adventure! I am going to be heading to SEA for a few weeks in about a month. I am still a little up in the air about where I am heading and it sucks. Been too busy with work to pinpont everything and even agree on a date to leave!! How you been to Asia yet Mr Dash Global? I haven't done Laos or Singapore yet so those are on the list, trying to combine Singapore with a layover if possible. I havent been to Bangladesh either so may hit Dhaka, it looks like an absolute crazy scene. I know that Vang Vien is supposed to be a wild time with 10ks of river that you float down innertubes absolutely lined with floating bars and ropeswings etc. I know that laws are lax as well. Anyway..let us know about your trip!! I would like to know how it pans out for you. If you need a place to stay in SJDS you should stay at Park Villa they are about a block and a half east of the ocean up the hill in the center of the town. It is owned by American Expats and it is about $40-50 a nt and well worth it. Pool, tv, ac and clean rooms as well as a large patio breezeway to hang out and drink cocktails. They will give you clean ice.You will notice the signs for the hotel-it is the monopoly guy!
