16 days Taiwan itinerary
Hi,I have 16 days for travel in Taiwan and made the following itinerary.
Day 1,2,3 Taipei: Visit night market, temples en do some shopping.
Day 4 day trip to Jiufen and Jinguashi
Day 5 Take the train from Taipei to Hualien
Day 6,7 With scooter to Taroko gorge: day 1 Old Jhuilu trail and hotspring day 2 smaller hikes
Day 8 Train Hualien to Taitung
Day 9, 10 Kenting national park
Day 11,12 Tainan
Day 13, 14 Visit Maolin scenic area visiting some tribal villages
Day 15 Tainan to Chiayi then take the train or bus to Fenqihu
Day 16 Fenqihu to Rueli trail and back to Taipei
Do i miss out something and is this doable for 16 days,

This seems doable. Some things that you might want to add in (but you might need to cut down a few things):Yehliu
Ju Ming Museum
Foguangshan
Taichung earthquake museum
Changhua big buddha/folk village
Sun Moon Lake and aboriginal village.
Lukang
National Center for Traditional Arts
Day 5 - The train is only 3 hours or so. You don't need an entire day. You can slot in something.
Day 8 - Again half a day at most is sufficient. Something can be slotted in.
Days 9-12 - Others may disagree but personally I think at least a day can be cut out.
