Two weeks in North India - 8 Day trekking possibilties
Hi,My partner and I are planning a two week trip to Northern India, flying into Delhi.
The main purpose of our trip would be to do a trek around 5-8 days sometime in September or early October
It looks like return flights to Leh may be too expensive for us.
Can anyone recommend areas to trek or towns to visit in the mountains that may be easier or cheaper to reach the Leh.
Im a little overwhelmed with choice!
My requirements are:
To travel no futher than 2 days travel away from Delhi- i..e I dont want to spend too much time travelling.
Challenging trek - Ideally reaching over 4000m
Accomidation on the trek so we dont need to camp and carry camping equipment.

Any other info on Himachal Pradesh would be great!!!!
Thanks

From mid-September or so, the monssoon ends and you can trek in Uttarakhand. For instance, Pindari Glacier (it's the easiest one to organizs with food and accomodation all along the trail).
