Getting MoneyWhat is the best way to get money in South Korea?
I'm currently in China and going to Seoul in a week. Should I exchange RMB into won (if so, in China or Korea)?
Or should I use my American debit card and withdraw from a bank in Korea?
Where will I get the best exchange?
Also I want to go to a water park in Seoul? Which one is the best? I was thinking about Caribbean Bay but it seems to have more kid stuff and spa stuff than water rides for thrillseekers. Any ideas?

1Depends on your card issuer, how much they charge you to withdraw money abroad. But for sure it's easy and convenient to just use your card - Although you may not be able to use ATMs at Korean banks, instead look for ATMs inside convenience stores - you should be able to know if it accepts your card because you will see logos for Visa/Mastercard/etc. on it. Also, most stores accept card payment.

2I've been using ATMS while traveling since at least 10 years.
But I have to admit that I freaked out a little bit in South Korea. There were very few ATMS who accepted my card, and none at the Incheon Airport. (Take at least a little cash.)
It has been confirmed by a friend of mine living in Seoul that foreigners have problems getting money from ATMS in South Korea.
When I found one working I took as much money as I could !
Enjoy South Korea !

3I never had any problems with my German debit card, and at least in Seoul there are plenty of ATMs linked to the Maestro or Cirrus network.
