Try visiting Piazza Navona which is a really pretty square with fountains and loads of really nice restaurants. We found it a little bit more expensive than other places we visited but the food was so much better.Have a great trip!

Hi,Trastervere is ok for pubs and nightlife, restaurants are ok but not the best, really toursitic and a little bit expensive, the same for piazza navona (more expensive).
Generally if you want eat something better you have to a little bit away from touristic location and just choose a trattoria in San Lorenzo, Testaccio, Monti, Esquilino, Pigneto.
For clubs or pubs it's depend what you look for... Trastevere is full of pubs and bar, Testaccio is full of clubs.

This looks really cool. I am from Montreal and we have lots of cool restaurants, many different options for bars, pubs, many hotels all near the nightlife in downtown. It is truly an exciting atmosphere and you never run out of things to do. Parties are happening every weekend - hundreds of people out having a good time. Montreal is definitely a great party city, very multi-cultural.Shannon

If you're looking for a good restaurant in Rome, I recommend you to try Ragno D'Oro on Via Silla. It's has a great homely and relaxed atmosphere, and most important, very delicious food. Try their second piatti di mare - they're superb, and the pizza is great - really tasty Italian pizza. I especially loved their homemade desserts: cream caramel and lemon sorbet. We dropped in by chance, but then came back several times to try some more of their food. You can check the location on the website: http://www.ragnodoro.org/en/il-ristorante
