Koh Chang Minibus|http://www.kohchangminibus.com/

Has anyone used this company?

Koh Chang Minibus

Normally, I would just take the bus from Ekkamai, but my mother is coming and she has a different standard of traveling than myself. She is after comfort. In addition, I have a broken leg at the moment, so I am looking to minimize walking. There will be 3 of us traveling:

  • Sedan: 4,600 baht (company said 3 persons okay) or Van: 5,100 baht
  • Door to Door service including all tolls, fuel, and the ferry crossing

Are there cheaper options out there? I fear it would take a long time to get a taxi willing to take us. What are your thoughts fellow TT people? I have 3 nights and 4 days on Koh Chang next weekend. The hotel is already booked.

Look same same like any other minibus. I would just pay for private minivan especially with your leg. It's not quite frequently your mom visit Thailand & you. Go with it.

Well, my back wheel spun out on some wet mud causing the bike to spin and land on my tibia. Thankfully, I was going pretty slowly and was sober. Even the locals on the soi said it wasn't my fault. They watched it happen.

Seems to be on the high side to me.

Those guys do it a bit cheaper:

Or ask any cab driver on the road how much he would take for the trip. Ask in advance and get his phone number.
