QUICK VISA QUESTION PLEASE HELPHiya,
Going to Thailand for 3 months on 13th June 2012. I understand i will be getting a Tourist Visa for 60 days and then extending my stay for 30 days whilst in Thailand.
When should I buy my visa? A month before trip? Week before?
I read that when buying tourist visa you must enter the country within 3 months of issue, which i understand but does my 60 day visa start from when i ordered it?? Or when i actually enter the country?
If i order my Visa now im hoping it wont of run out of not have long left on it by the time June comes, or am i being really silly and the 60 day stay starts when i arrive?
They could just mean i have to leave for thailand within 3 months of booking the visa, but then my Tourist visa duration starts when arriving?
Thanks guys :)

3A visa (the piece of paper in your passport) is 'valid' (must be used) within 90 days of the issue date. I have seen the term 'activated' used a few times now on Consulate sites. After activation, this would allow you to stay for the amount of time on the visa (usually 60 days).
So buy it less than 90 days before you intend to arrive.
