Also, you haven't answered my original question in the op, nor have you answered my question about other cities having a campaign to plead with their fans to 'celebrate responsibly'.

Does really seem farfetched to you that cities that have had sports-related riots may take similar steps/campaigns to avoid future ones? Are you really that lacking in imagnation?

I don't know, that's why I am asking, and do you have any evidence that other cities also have an ad campaign pleading with their fans to 'celebrate responsibly'?

I don't hate my hometown, just the hockey team, though hate is too strong a word, at the end of the day it's just sports, I'm just curious if any other city ever had to do an ad campaign pleading with their fans to 'celebrate responsibly'? Again you haven't answered. I'm beginning to understand how you got the nickname Herr Goosestepper on the Stew.

I've always liked Luongo, but it looks like he will leave Vancouver a villain. Sad, he doesn't deserve all the hateful remarks that are made his way.

Updown, that is true, but I do remember an article in ESPN, the Magazine where they polled players in the NHL and Lou was voted the most overrated player in the game.

I'd say Scott Gomez of the Montreal Canadians is the most over-rated player in the league. He gets upwards of 7 million a season and couldn't score a goal in nearly a whole calender year.

Luongo is a good player, I don't think he is over-rated, and I wouldn't say hes under-rated, but he for sure is treated badly round these parts. What do you think?
