Train station - bus station Zagreb

I am arriving Zagreb at 1930 by train and i have to catch the 21:00 bus to Dubrovnik. How far is it? How can i go?

It's a short walk, maybe 5 minutes.

When you step out from Train station building in Zagreb there is a tram stop just in front of it. Catch trams 2 or 6 and get out on the 3rd stop (Main bus terminal). It is just 5 minutes tram ride.

I would like to add just a few useful data to the post #3 which describes, by far, the best option for a transport solution between the two points.

  • It is important to know that the train and bus stations are not close, especially when you have to carry your luggage or in the case of rain, sun, etc. There are at least 1.2 km from one point to the other.

  • When you find yourself in the train station building, buy a one way tram ticket at the kiosk that costs 12 kunas or roughly 1.6 euros.

  • When you enter the tram, you will see small automated devices at which you have to register your ticket
