South America for 2months(Jan,Febr2013) H.E.L.P.Hi my friends.
Can anybody help me with my plans. I have just decided to go to S.America for 2 months (January+February 2013).
I'm living in London,U.K.
I would appreciate all advice about routes around this continent. Also i am not sure when is the best time to buy flight tickets, probably this is not going to be return ticket, but 2 singles ticket.
I definitely want to visit Brasil, Argentina , Chile, Peru , and Colombia . (my priorities...)
I prefer do this by land to meet local people to take some good pictures of them :)
A want to take all necessary staff for camping, which means i want to spend short time in local areas where classic tourist accommodation is not available.

1Hi, can you be specific about what you want to see in these countries? You could easily do all those countries in two months if you just want to see one or two places in each, but if you're planning on going as far South as Patagonia and as far North as the Caribbean Coast, seeing the best each country has to offer, then you will need to plan a pretty tight itinerary.
You needn't lug too much camping stuff around with you as in most places worth camping in it's easy to hire.
For what it's worth how about a (very) rough route like Rio, Iguazu, BsAs, Bariloche, Santiago, Cuzco, Arequipa, Lima, Iquitos, Leticia, Bogotá, Cartagena. Though it'll be very difficult to see the best of these countries in that space of time without flying...

2I know if i want to do a trip around continent there will be necessary 1-2 flight at least....
What Iwanna see in S.Amrica is people and their life. I want to avoid to stay in big cities for more that 1-2 days and better for me is stay in smaller towns/villages where i can see local life.
So now i am thinking about to start a trip in Rio and then make it around (Argentina , Chile,...)
This is why am asking what direction or which countries is best to take in that part of the year (Jan 2013).
I m not sure how far could i ravel during that 2 months (Patagonia) and i am not sure which part of continent should I avoid (better said take a plane and jump it off).
I want to travel on budget, dont know the prices for flights between countries...
but i seen f.e. return flight london-rio was like 550gbp return which is very good price... but 2 single flights i see is like 900gbp.... so now i think its better to buy round trip from london and add some local flights in s.america(hope the price will be acceptable) :)
