small fryToday I was coaxed by a cheap 12 pack of snack sized Bounty bars .... they are rich moist coconut... wrapped in quiite thick chocolate and a modest enough treat if you can manage choose just the one .
I opened my packet and it was tiny!!!!!! twasn't snack sized it was positively crumb like....a juvenile !!!!!
Bounty is supposed to signify plenty... an abundance of treasures .... LOTS !!!!!!!!
How is it that all the good things are shrinking while I am growing ???????
What indulgence of yours is getting so small that you can barely appreciate it??????

5What mithered me about cheap confectionary was that they changed the wrappers so you could no longer bake them in the oven, which shrunk them into miniature size so you could turn them into a pin / badge, now they're made from some kind of thin glossy paper. So yeah! not only have they reduced the size of the confectionary, but they've made it so you can't recycle the wrappers yourself...what a swizz!!!.

6Now (USA - the one with added rice, not the Czech one) Budweiser here in the UK, is also down to 4.8%.
Is there no justice - anymore?

7When I was in England a few year back, I thought it was pretty funny to see Budweiser listed as an imported beer.
It's one of the biggest industrially made beers in the US.

Does that mean Bud sold in the UK, is not made under license in the UK?
It is made under license in several provinces in Canada to the original method.

13Oh - I've had a couple tonight.
It ain't gonna get any better than though.
I've run out.
Bad calculation on Monday - or maybe I just drank too much on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
I don't keep a diary. Pointless, cos I'd tot it up wrong - anyway.
Then again, thinking about it.... It's probably the reduction in alcohol content (4.8% etc.) - so I've necked more cans.
Knew there was sommat different this week.
tonyzzz1.... You've solved it - without even raising the subject.
How do you do that?

Tell me about it, billy. I had a terrible Chelt Fest, until today - backing the winner of the Gold Cup today got half my losses back. (I could have got 16/1 last night but Pricewise (in the Racing Post) tipped Synchronised overnight and the price almost halved.
It's my own fault: up until yesterday I could have got 16/1 - my partner asked why I didn't back at this price and my answer was that I'd hoped he'd drift in the market, since I'd no idea that Tom Segal would tip him.
