River rafting in Panama

I am on a loose schedule while traveling in Panama and would like to arrange river rafting once I arrive in David. Iam thinking of renting a car with my freind and exploring the area at our own pace and on our own schedule. Is it better to arrange river rafting in Boquete? Can it be arranged one day prior to going rafting? Are thre any river raffting companies to recommend?

I recommend this company (see link above). I used Boquete Outdoor Adventures for another tour, and they were great. Very professional, provided all of the necessary gear.

Have fun in Panama!

Second the idea of Boquete Outdoor Adventures. If you are in David, you can meet them at the intersection of the PanAmerican Highway and road to Boquete in front of the DoIt Best store. Cannot miss the vehicle with all the rafts on top.
There is also a new surfboard rental/lesson place out on playa la Barqueta where Las Olas Resort is. Go to local restaurant on the beach La Costena and ask for Tito.
Have fun

I also rec boquete outdoor adventures, I would rec making reservations ahead of time! They have a minimum of 3 people per boat, so it's good to call or email so they can let you know a good day to meet up!
