Qualified Special Ed. Teacher looking to teach abroad
Greetings,I am a certified sped teacher from the U.S. I am currently teaching in the UAE. I am getting the itch to try somewhere different. I have looked at the U.S. Schools Abroad list http://www.state.gov/m/a/os/c1684.htm, but I need to know which schools offer sped programs. I am open for pretty much anywhere. Any SpED teachers out there have some advice?
Thank you!

What sort of special needs? Learning disabilities, developmentally disabled, mentally retarded, autism spectrum, etc?I am not sure that it matters which schools have special education programs as increasingly the schools on the list you have already seen are looking for special education teachers as they expand to meet the special needs of the DOS students.
DOS Office of Overseas Schools Special Education page. The first link on this page is document from this office listing schools that offer special needs services.
Is there a part of the world that interests you? I can tell you some about schools in SEAsia and South America.
