Bıcycle shop ın South East Turkey...Hey kındly cycle folks.
Im ın Turkey - as you mıght have already gathered due to my use of the strange Turkısh "ı".
Anyway - Im ın need of a Turkısh bıke shop - but ıt seems no one has been able to name a decent one on thıs entıre fourm. Surely that cant be the case? Ideally ıt would be ın South East Anatloya. I need some new tyres - 28s. And I have a strange knockıng noıse from my front hub... And many other aılments afflıct my beloved bıke...
Arrıved ın Turkey today from Iraq and was ımmedıately attacked by stone throwıng chıldren. Lıterally wıthın seconds leavıng the border post. What a fırst ımpressıon...

1Yeh, you gotta love the rock throwers. I tried a few times to return the fire but that didn't work. The adults do sort them out though.
Other than that its a great place.
Try Sanlurfa, but don't know for sure.
Malatya had a few but again the stock was limited at best, and as for 28" tires you may be out of luck.
There is an excellent warmshower member in Malatya you could use a mailing address and order to him online. He was really helpful to us and is a teacher there.

2A quick google revealed a bike rental company in the area
Maybe they can help you, or direct you to somewhere that can?

4There is a good shop - or better put, a mechanic - in the main 'bicycle shop district' in Antep that stocks all sorts of Shimano parts. The guy there is an excellent dude and great mechanic. There are Shimano signs outside tge shop and it is near a BIM express supermarket...
