Smoking a cigar in NYC
Not a popular question for many people, I fear. But still I have the question.I'm thinking of spending a month in New York this fall as a tourist and I use to smoke three or four cigars on a daily basis. That might be an issue there.
I wonder, where at outdoor places in NYC is it legal to smoke? And how can I recognize such a place? Are there signs e.g.?
thanks, Ronald

As above, smoking outdoors is not a problem. But if the weather turns inclement you might want to visit one of the many cigar lounges in the city.3
There are many excellent cigar lounges in NYC. But Central Park is a great place to enjoy a smoke.5
#7 is correct...also there are some places where you can smoke inside such as cigar bars....there is one that used to have a cigar room called Angelo and Maxies (its a steak house) and i believe bar and books also has one.... http://www.barandbooks.cz/lexington/ there are also places that sell cigars...one really great place for cuban cigars is called "Cuba" in the west village
