2 day hiking/trekking trip in Atlas mountain

Dear all

During our six day visit in Marrakesh we would like to do a two day trip to the Atlas Mountain, and do some hiking. We've got an offer for 300€ for two people, incl accommodation, meals, transfer from/to Marrakesh, guide. Is this a fair price? or should we go to Imlil and find a guide there? Usually we organize hikes by ourself, e.g. in Nepal, but since we have only a limited time, we like to make the most out of it.
Any advice?

Thanks
Tinka

My first reaction is that 3300dh seems excessive. Is this just a guide, or also a mule plus muleateer?

Here's some places you could ask for competitive quotes. Let them understand you are contacting others and ask exactly what's included, where the accommodation is, and so forth.

We get a lot of people asking and not many relating their experiences, so it would be extremely helpful if you would let us know what sort of prices you are quoted and who you went for.

Many thanks for your advice and the good websites. We've sent out the quote and we will come back once we made up our mind.

Btw we might go to the atlas mountain on a saturday, is it worth it to stop at the Asni weekly market?

You would be passing right by it, so yes, worth a look even if it's only 20 minutes.
