2 day hiking/trekking trip in Atlas mountain
Dear allDuring our six day visit in Marrakesh we would like to do a two day trip to the Atlas Mountain, and do some hiking. We've got an offer for 300€ for two people, incl accommodation, meals, transfer from/to Marrakesh, guide. Is this a fair price? or should we go to Imlil and find a guide there? Usually we organize hikes by ourself, e.g. in Nepal, but since we have only a limited time, we like to make the most out of it.
Any advice?
Thanks
Tinka

..... we are indebted to Tim for this link, hope it helps as I know nothing about hiring guides.http://www.imlil.org

My first reaction is that 3300dh seems excessive. Is this just a guide, or also a mule plus muleateer? Here's some places you could ask for competitive quotes. Let them understand you are contacting others and ask exactly what's included, where the accommodation is, and so forth.

We get a lot of people asking and not many relating their experiences, so it would be extremely helpful if you would let us know what sort of prices you are quoted and who you went for.
