Places to see in Croatia?
I am doing some traveling this summer and I wanted to go to Croatia for about 10 days from Greece. I was thinking of going to Split, Hvar and Dubrovnik. Am I missing out by not going to Zagreb? or is that too much to cram into 10 days? Any advice would be much appreciated as well as advice on hostels, costs and things to doThank you!

Where in Greece will you start your journey? How do you plan to travel from Greece to Croatia? Just getting from Greece to Croatia is going to take you some time assuming that you go overland and if you plan to fly then you may end up traveling from some point in Greece to Zagreb.Whether you miss something by not going to Zagreb depends upon your interests but there are other places that I would go before including Zagreb.
In this part of the world, it is more common to stay in a room offered by someone at the bus station or ferry port than a hostel. For travel costs, we need to know your routing. For things to do, we need to know your interests.

bristol that is perfect! thank you for the advice. It really looks beautiful there. My friend is deadset on going to Hvar but I'm going to make sure we stop in Korcula for a couple days"Don`t tell me that all the tourists in Las Vegas and Disneyland are from overseas! :)
If I were you I`d flip a coin and spend all my time either in Croatia or in Greece!"
This is very true, I guess I never thought of it that way haha. I don't want to see a good amount and will be traveling 52 days total so I can shave off and add days here and there so if I find I want more or less time in one place then I will do that. Thank you again for the advice!

52 days?Where else do you go other than Greece and Croatia?
Hvar is beautiful, but it`s overhyped and expensive. Hvar town itself is so small you can see everything in a couple of hours and the rest of the island there`s nothing that you can`t find on other islands, like on Korcula for example.
If the ferry schedule allows it just do a day trip from Split!

And thank you for telling me about Hvar, I will plan to just make it a day trip!7
Split is worth a half day to see Diocletian's palace. Also spend a little time in Trogir which is nice and if you like Roman ruins, then visit Salona which is often overlooked.Ruth
