Best place to propose in Malaysia?

Hi all,

I am doing some reasearch on where are the most popular, extoic and romantic places to propose to your partner in Malaysia.

I'm lost for ideas so any thoughts and recommendations would be fantastic! We are based in Hong Kong and looking to go away on vacation and thought this would be a great time to propose.

I’m keen to find out if there are any places you have heard about, thought about, or even proposed to your partner at that you’d be happy to share.

I’m also looking for original ideas/places that would make a good location to capture my proposal on camera.

Any ideas, tips thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks everyone

For beach and Island,i recommend you at Perhentian Island , Rawa Island and Susu Dara Island with blue crystal water and beautiful house reef.

Hopefully above information can give you more ideas to capture about nature.

thanks for the info and this will help with our reseach. We've also been to Redang and loved it there too as a holiday.

Personally I think proposing on top of Mount Kinabalu will be a fantastic setting. Your partner will have no idea as you trek to the summit in the wee hours of the morning and the best bit is enjoying the sunrise after you propose. Congratulations to you :)

In KL, try SkyBar at Traders Hotel. It has magnificent views of the KLCC twin towers from there.

For something more romantic, try some of the more beautiful islands on the east coast of peninsula Malaysia. Redang is very pretty.

For something exotic. Try Pulau Rawa (Johor), there are only two hotels on the island so it is very private and the island in itself is very beautiful.
