Lounge facilities at KLIA

Hi all,

Going though KL from Banda Aceh tomorrow then onto UK.

Need some info regarding where the private lounge at KLIA or LCCT is.

Maybe even the cost and maximum time - i seem to remember the LCCT lounge was on a time limit back in 2008 (but i could be wrong).

If anyone could also tell me if there is free wi-fi at either of the airports, as I need to keep in touch with family in UK as much as possible.

I would normally do my own research but haven't got the time - last minute plan to return to Scotland to hopefully spend time with my father.

Thanks all.

Thanks for the info and links,

wow, those prices are high compared to Medan airport lounge :-(

Open wi-fi is my main concern so thanks for putting my mind at rest.

Take care

Free wi fi all over, max 3 hours. It even reached the Indian vegetarian restuarant outside. (This was Monday).

I find the free wifi is soooo slow. Guess it depends on the number of people using it. But when I was there last week I was connected but couldn't open webpages. I use both airports quite a lot and quite often the wifi doesn't work in KLIA.

Had no problems, got right onto skype as soon as i cleared into LCCT and made a very good and clear video call, including checking websites for onward travel.

Though I was at KLIA for some time and it was intermittent, but maybe due to me being outside at the smoking area at times.

Overall a good free service and maximum three hours didn't kick me out after 3 hours!.
