15KL is a nice place for a stopover. i usually use http://www.ratestogo.com/Default.asp for accommodation there.
there is also a train from KL airport to sentral, i haven't used it yet (only the skybus) but i've heard it's half the time for about the same cost. i intend to use it next time
blossom - i guess it depends on whether he is still making money from QPR (assuming he is now)

18There's a Tune hotel at KLCC only a few minutes walk from the terminal.
The express rail link from KL Sentral to LCCT requires passengers to transfer to a bus link(price included) the train then goes on to KLIA
Dont know how it works from LCCT to KL
Sad to hear the news about Air Asia cutting flights to UK
They had only recently transferred from Stansted to Gatwick

19The best deals in 2011 were with Saudi airlines I got two return tickets London to manila with taxes
for 396.00 pounds.
But for 2012 the price of a Return on Saudi airlines is around 450 pounds.
you have a 4/5 hour stop over with Saudi airlines.

20Thesedays, if you can get from London to Manila for less than £500, you're doing OK. It's such a shame that Oasis went bust!
Going via the Middle East can be cheap, but both legs of the flight are long and you might end up having to do an additional stop in Bangkok or KL.
Hong Kong is definitely the quickest and most convenient route to the Philippines. Get the cheapest flight you can to HK then get a Cebu Pacific flight to Manila or Cebu. There are plenty of flights everyday. You can also spend a day or two in HK, which is an amazing city.
