Mozambique or tanzania 2 1/2 weeks

I have 2 weeks off, which country would you recommend and why?

thanks.

PS: most people told me Tanzania, but Mozambique looks maybe more authentic (at least the people) and less tourists, but I might be wrong. maybe more problematic and more expensive....if white.

any specials tips, secret gems, or recommendation for each?

Serengeti and Ngorongoro are worth a trip to Tanzania

I can't make a recommendation as I've not been to Mozambique. But I have been to to Tanz and enjoyed it quite a bit.

It might help others if you mentioned your interests so they would know which country might best match them.

Good luck.

If you are not interested in going on game drives and seeing animals, then you should go to Mozambique. Unless you were planning on climbing kilimanjaro or relaxing on the beaches in Zanzibar. People are friendly all over east and southern Africa! You won't find a whole lot of colonial architecture in Tanzania but you will find loads of poverty, genuine east African culture, and great experiences!
