Georgia to Russia by motorcycleswe are planning to have tour by five motorcycles and want to set off from turkey and go to Russia through the Caucasus in the middle of July. But we know that there are several autonomous regions here so it wouldn't be safe enough to pass through these regions. It would be so nice to go to Sochi by ferry from trabzon, turkey. but this is also impossible because of the blockage of the Russian government Sochi harbor to ferry trips. there is a cruise but it's not possible to carry the motorcycles that's why we are looking for another route for this.
if this is impossible, the alternative routes are;
1.hopa (turkey)- Tbilisi(Georgea)-Makhachkala(Dagestan)-Stavropol (russia)
2.hopa (turkey)- Tbilisi(Georgea)-Baku (Azarbaijan)-Makhachkala(Dagestan)-Stavropol (russia)
I will be appreciated if you share any information about this route.

1Neither of your options works. You can't pass from Georgia to Dagestan. The border with Dagestan is actually with Azerbaijan, and it is not open to international travelers.
There are reports that the border between Georgia and Russia is open at Verkny Lars. See this recent thread: So What is the Latest on the Russian Georgia border.
Also it is possible to travel from Georgia to Abkhazia to Russia. While the Georgians don't like this, they can't really prevent it. OTOH you cannot travel in the reverse direction because that would be entering Georgia illegally.
