You can take local transportation from Savlamar to Downtown Santa Cruz taxi stand downtown, then catch a local taxi going up to Accompong ..
I went to the festival 2011 and it was very enjoyable ... make sure yu know how yu getting back home tho ..its VERY crowded at the festival ...and after 6 pm its very difficult to finf transportation back into Santa Cruz .

You can reach Accompong by public transport, but it will take a very, very long time ! You will have to leave from MoBay to Reading, Montpelier,Cambridge,Catadupa, Elderslie to Accompong. Leaving early in the morning and it will still take you most of the day to get there. The roads are terrible way up there in the hills. You will do better to hire a private taxi to take you up there.
A day trip from there to Kingston is also not advised because of time and distance.
ONE LOVE !!

if you are already in Kingston and going to Accompong Town , its very doable but NOT doable to leave Mobay, go to Kingston and on to Accompong!
The festival is an all day and late into the late nite festival so a Private Taxi would require that the driver wait for yu for the day into the nite. I went for the 2011 Festival and when the music started playing in the nite , I didnt want to leave, so I stayed overnight and left the next day and went back to Negril by local transportation.

BTW, are yu leaving from Montego Bay? (maybe I missed that information in ur text)

I got a Facebook message from Bill today, and he is definitely in Accompong now, so I'd shoot him an email with questions...
