When we arrived (August 2010) they wanted cash - which can be dollars or in som. If you don't have any, ask a guard to take you around to the ATM in the lobby, and try not to get screwed with by the taxi drivers. There's a minibus that should take you to the center of town for a tenth of what they'll charge.Edited by: emd_two on Mar 23, 2013 1:38 AM

There are no taxi drivers in the lobby anymore. The airport launched its own taxi service "Manas-Taxi". They charge according to the meter, normally it is 450-500 KG Som from the airport to the center of Bishkek.
